ADA – The East Central University soccer team earned its second-straight win, with a 1-0 win over Oklahoma Baptist in non-conference action at Lady Tiger Field.

Kaitie Herrin tallied her first goal as a Lady Tiger (2-2) at 63:48 in the second half. Herrin was the lucky recipient of the ball when senior
Kristina Gonzalez-Claborn sent a shot off the right post and it bounced out front on the left side of the goal.
Herrin was one of four ECU players with two shots on goal. The group included Gonzalez-Claborn and seniors
Taylor Graves and
Jessica Stibbens.
Junior
Taylor Lowe came up big in the goal for the Lady Tigers, recorded five saves, with three late in the second half to secure the victory.
ECU played a strong offensive and defensive match, recording 13 total shots on goal and allowing just five.
The Lady Tigers will finish up a busy week this Sunday, Sept. 14 at Missouri Southern State for a 1 p.m. match.
