ARKADELPHIA, ARK. – The East Central University soccer team fell 0-3 to Ouachita Baptist in road Great American Conference action.
The Tigers (3-9, 2-4 GAC) had a strong defensive game, with freshman
Chloe Hull recording 13 saves and the ECU defense blocking eight of Ouachita's 28 shots in the game.
The Tigers tallied 11 total shots in the game with four on goal. Senior

Lexie DeVore, sophomore
Deanna Rudasill and freshman
Kendall Smith all earned one shot on goal in the match for ECU.
OBU got on the scoreboard in the 39
th minute, with Haley Hatcher earning her first of three goals in the match. The tally was the lone mark for the first half, but Hatcher added goals at 66:04 and 74:47 in the second half for the 0-3 final.
The Tigers will remain on the road next week for the final two matches of a five-match road trip. ECU will first stop in Alva, Okla., to face Northwestern Oklahoma State, Thursday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. The final stop in the trip will be at Southwestern Oklahoma State, Saturday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m.
