WEATHERFORD, OKLA. – The East Central University soccer team suffered a 0-5 loss to league-leading Southwestern Oklahoma State in Great American Conference action.
The Tigers (4-10, 3-5 GAC) had their chances in the match, with a 19-24 difference in shots. However, SWOSU made the most of their attempts with 15 on goal to just four by ECU.

Chloe Hull stopped 10 shots in the match, while four different players earned a shot on goal for the Tigers. Freshman
Kendall Smith took three total shots and sophomore
Deanna Rudasill two.
The Bulldogs (11-2-1, 7-0-1 GAC) came out ready to fight and scored the first goal of the match at 6:40. SWOSU added two more goals in the first stanza to take a 0-3 lead into the intermission.
The Bulldogs then garnered two more goals in the second half for the 0-5 win.
The match was the final of five-straight road matches for ECU, who will now return to Tiger Field for the first match at home since Oct. 1. The Tigers will welcome Oklahoma Baptist, Thursday, Oct. 22 for a 4 p.m. match.
The match is one of the final four of the 2015 regular-season for ECU, who will play at home for the final weekend of the season, including an Oct. 31 match with Harding during the 2015 Homecoming festivities.
