ADA – East Central University's volleyball team earned their second sweep of the 2015 season with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-9, 25-13) victory over Langston University in non-conference play.

The opening set started the strong pace for ECU. The Tigers jumped to an early lead of 7-3 and held the lead through the entire set. Langston fought back toward the end of the set using a 6-0 run to cut the deficit from eight to three (20-17). The Tigers pushed back and used a 4-0 run of their own to regain control to pull through with the 25-20 win.
ECU and the Lions battled closely starting the second set, then the Tigers ran off with the lead winning with a final score of 25-9.
The final set was dominated by ECU, who pushed ahead with a 4-0 lead to start the set. The Tigers held Langston to single digits for most of the set and never let the Lions score more than two-straight points on the way to a 25-13 win.
ECU will next be in action for a battle with Oklahoma Baptist at the Kerr Activities Center, Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
