The Tigers (6-20, 2-13 GAC) were led by sophomore Alex Campbell, who hit .478 (13k-2e-23ta) and added two block assists.  Sophomore Madyson Gill added 10 kills, while sophomore Taylor Turner earned her fourth double-double of the year with 33 assists and 13 digs.  Sophomore Lily Porsa led the team defensively with 20 digs.

The teams traded points in the opening eight serves of the set, before ECU pulled away with a 7-0 run and an 11-4 advantage.  The Tigers didn't let the Rangers (11-16, 8-7 GAC) get more than three points in a row the rest of the set and pushed through to the 25-16 win.

The second set was a true battle to the wire, with 14 ties and nine lead changes before a winner could be decided.  ECU was trailing 21-23 when a kill from Turner started a 4-0 run for the Tigers that gave them the needed cushion to earn a 25-23 win.

The third set was close at the beginning, but this time after a seven-all tie NWOSU was the team that went on a 5-0 run to take the needed advantage.  The Tigers battled back to get within two points, but ended up falling 20-25.

The final set was all ECU, as they took the first two points and never let the Rangers get closer than one point throughout the set.  The teams traded serves through most of the set, but a key 4-0 run for the Tigers gave them the needed advantage to push ahead.  ECU also added a 4-0 run to get to match-point, with NWOSU holding off the inevitable for one point before falling 25-19.

The Tigers will end their season next week with two home matches set to be played at the Kerr Activities Center.  ECU will first host Mid-America Christian, Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.

The final game of the year is against arch rival Southeaster, Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.  The game in the annual Senior Day, to honor seniors Hayley Gerken and Sarah Simpson, and the Blackout the Power of the Storm game.
