RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. – East Central University baseball senior Cam McKay has been named the Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second-straight week after helping the Tigersto receive votes in the latest NCBWA DII National Poll.

McKay improved to 3-1 as he threw his second-straight complete game as part of the Tigers' second-straight sweep of a GAC foe. In game two of the series with Northwestern Oklahoma State, he allowed only four hitters to reach base. He struck out five and gave up just one run. His 1.17 ERA ranks third in the GAC and his .156 opponent's batting average ranks second.

The Tigers are scheduled to return to action this weekend for a GAC series at Ken Turner Field against Ouachita Baptist Feb. 27-28.
