ADA – The East Central University soccer team earned its first shutout win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State at Tiger Field.

Lexie DeVore, who tallied a goal and two assists.
The Tigers didn't waste much time to take control of the game, scoring the first goal at 7:43 and adding the second three minutes later.
Sophomore
Deanna Rudasill claimed the match-winning goal for ECU. Rudasill got a pass from the left side of the box from freshman
Kendall Cook and DeVore and sent it in the right side of the net.
DeVore then scored her first goal of the season at 10:42. She was assisted by seniors
Taylor Kennedy and
Kaitie Herrin.
The Tigers added a goal in the second half for the 3-0 final. Kennedy tallied her fourth of the season with assists from DeVore and Rudasill at 61:52.
ECU will now get ready for a Thursday, Oct. 1 match against Southern Nazarene at 4 p.m. at Tiger Field.
