The Tigers (2-6, 1-1 GAC) saw freshman Chloe Hull earn her first shutout, stopping three shots.  ECU was led by junior Lexie DeVore, who tallied a goal and two assists.

The Tigers didn't waste much time to take control of the game, scoring the first goal at 7:43 and adding the second three minutes later.

Sophomore Deanna Rudasill claimed the match-winning goal for ECU.  Rudasill got a pass from the left side of the box from freshman Kendall Cook and DeVore and sent it in the right side of the net.

DeVore then scored her first goal of the season at 10:42.  She was assisted by seniors Taylor Kennedy and Kaitie Herrin.

The Tigers added a goal in the second half for the 3-0 final.  Kennedy tallied her fourth of the season with assists from DeVore and Rudasill at 61:52.

ECU will now get ready for a Thursday, Oct. 1 match against Southern Nazarene at 4 p.m. at Tiger Field.
