Scouting Southern Nazarene
The Crimson Storm are 4-8 overall and 3-6 in the GAC after winning their last outing.  SNU has a -6.0 scoring and -2.1 rebounding margin on the year, but is close to its opponents in overall shooting percentage (.410 to .418) and have a .339 to .327 lead three-point shooting.

The Crimson Storm have four players that are averaging in double-digits in the scoring column.  Abby Boyd leads the way with 19.1 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.  Adrienne Berry adds 10.6 points, Rachel Doerneman 10.3 and Danielle Gaddis 10.1 points per game.

The Series
While SNU and ECU have been playing each other since 1982, Thursday's game will be just the seventh as conference opponents.  The Crimson Storm currently leads the series 12-17, but the Tigers are 7-4 when playing at home.

Scouting Northwestern
The Rangers come into the week with a 1-13 overall record and a 0-9 mark in the GAC, but they will have an opportunity to improve on that mark Thursday, when they face Oklahoma Baptist.  NWOSU has struggled to get going on the scoreboard, with a -20.4 scoring margin for the season.  The Rangers also trail their opponents with a -8.9 rebounding margin and .336 to .456 in shooting percentage.

NWOSU has one player that is averaging over 10 points per game and one more at nine.  Kamera Bozeman is the leader for the Rangers, with 11.8 points and 6.9 boards per game, while shooting .563 from the field and adding 13 blocks.  Micaela Yu adds 9.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

The Series
The Tigers currently own a 26-11 lead in the all-time series with NWOSU after winning the last four meetings.  ECU also has a 19-9 advantage when playing as conference members and a 12-5 mark when playing in Alva.

Career Weekend for the Tigers
All but two players on the active roster this season recorded at least one new career high over the weekend, with sophomore Aalyiah Blakely leading the way with four.  She reset marks for points (17), rebounds (9), steals (3) and field goals (6).  Junior Jalyn Jackson also added three career-bests, by recording 10 points in both of ECU's victories on five made shots and adding three blocks against SWOSU.

Blakely On the Court
The Tigers got a boost from the bench at the break, as sophomore Aalyiah Blakely was cleared to play after sitting out a year due to NCAA transfer rules.    In her first game for ECU she tallied seven points, five rebounds and added an assist.

Blakely came to the Tigers in the Spring 2015 semester from Oklahoma Baptist.  She saw limited action in just four games with the Bison.  Blakely is a native of Ada, Okla., where she helped the Cougars to a state tournament appearance as a senior.

Adair Making Moves
Sophomore Alexa Adair might have played in all 27 games for ECU as a freshman, but she was behind a group of five seniors and averaged just 2.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.  In 2015-16 she has been forced into a leading role for the Tigers and has responded, averaging 13.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.  Adair even set career highs in the scoring column in two-straight games, with 20 against Southern Arkansas and then 28 against Arkansas-Monticello.  She has also set new career highs for rebounds (10), field goals (9), three-point field goals (6) and free throws (6).

Up Next
The Tigers will remain on the road next week, as they travel to face Southern Arkansas (Jan. 28) and Arkansas-Monticello (Jan. 30).
