The Tigers (2-8-1, 2-4 GAC) were led by junior Deanna Rudasill, who claimed the match-tying and winning goals.  Rudasill garnered five shots on goal total in the match in 83 minutes.

Senior Lexi Hurley picked up her first win of the season, stopping five shots and allowing two goals.

The Bisons (7-4, 4-2 GAC) started the scoring at 6:10 in the first half and took a 0-1 advantage into the intermission.

Harding then added a second goal at 59:28 for the 0-2 lead.

While it took ECU until the 83rd minute to get on the scoreboard, the Tigers tallied their first two goals of the match in less than six minutes.

Sophomore Summer Whalen struck first for ECU, recording her first goal of the year.  Whalen finished a play right in front of the net after a throw in from sophomore Kendall Cook, about 25 yards out to the left of the goal at 83:28.

Rudasill then tied the match for the Tigers at 89:08.  Freshman Lizette Carreon sent a free kick from 40 yards out right into of a pile of players at the net and Rudasill finished the goal with a header into the right corner of the net.
The Bisons had the first few chances in overtime to get the match-winner, but it was ECU who claimed the win at 98:02.

Carreon started the play with a free kick at the Tigers goal box, which was sent up the middle of the field to senior Kylee Harper.  Harper then found Rudasill in the center of the box where she sent the shot just off the fingertips of the Harding goalkeeper from 30 yards out for the win.

The Tigers will continue their home stand, Thursday, Oct. 13 when they welcome Southwestern to Tiger Field at 3 p.m.
