EDMOND, OKLA. – The East Central University men's cross country team started the 2016 season by placing fourth at the UCO Land Run, Saturday, Sept. 3.

The Tigers, who are ranked No. 16 in the nation and No. 2 in the Central Region by the USTFCCCA, garnered 106 points and were the top team to finish from three teams from the Great American Conference. Oklahoma Baptist was fifth (111 points) and Northwestern seventh (224).

ECU will now get a week off before the next race, Saturday, Sept. 17 in Joplin, Mo., at the Southern Stampede hosted by Missouri Southern.
