Senior Brett Cannon had a stellar performance for ECU, recording the Tigers (4-2) third triple-double in school history.  Leonard Cooper earned the first two during his time in an ECU uniform (1993-96).  Cannon garnered 13 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds in the game.

Junior Marcus Lytle added his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.  A total of seven players for the Tigers recorded double-digit point totals, with junior Gabe McKenzie leading the way with 22 points, junior Da'Rion King added 18, senior Jeremiah Fleming had 18 and sophomore Camron Talley netted 12.

The teams started out close, with the game tied at four after the first two-minutes.  However, that is when ECU turned up the tempo and built the lead out to double digits over the next five minutes (20-9).  The lead stayed between 10-15 points for the Tigers until the final 1:30 of the half.  ECU then took their first 20-point advantage (53-32) before going into the locker room with a 55-36 advantage.

The Tigers kept the pressure on the Knights (5-14) throughout the second half, pushing the lead to 30, with 14:30 to play.  ECU never let up and increased the lead to as many as 39 (116-77), before earning the 118-79 victory.

This is the first 100-point game for the Tigers since March 11, 2017, when the defeated MSU-Moorehead 115-106 in overtime at the NCAA Central Regional.  It is the first on their home court since Feb. 13, 2017 when they defeated arch rival Southeastern, 101-64.

The Tigers will have one more game before taking a break for the holidays, as they face Dallas Christian, Saturday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Kerr Activities Center.
