The Tigers (4-3-1, 1-0-1 GAC) continued to keep pressure on the defense, recording 14 shots on goal to just five by the Rangers (0-6-1, 0-1-1 GAC).

Junior Chloe Hull earned her second shutout win in net for the season, by stopping all five shots she faced.
The teams battled through a scoreless first half and were well into the second before the deciding goal was scored.

At 76:10, sophomore Kay Woodring finished up a scramble in front of the net to earn the goal.  ECU had gotten a strong pass into the box on a free kick, before it was deflected by the defense.  However, Woodring picked it up and after rolling on the ground with the NWOSU goalie slipped the ball in the net.

The Tigers will now get a rest until Thursday, Sept. 28 when they host Southern Nazarene at Tiger Field.
