SHAWNEE, OKLA. – The East Central University soccer team suffered its first Great American Conference loss of the 2017 season, with a 1-0 loss at Oklahoma Baptist.
The Tigers (4-4-1, 1-1-1 GAC) saw a reversal of fortunes from their first two league games of the season, being out-shot by the Bison (8-1, 4-0 GAC) 25-3 (3-1 SOG). ECU's lone shot one goal came from sophomore

Chloe Hull stopped two of the three shots she faced, allowing her first goal in over 200 minutes.
The lone goal of the game came during the first half, at the 33-minute mark. OBU's Hannah White garnered the goal on an assist by Ruth King.
The Tigers will remain on the road for the next four matches, with a weekend road trip to Arkansas next on the list. ECU will face Harding Thursday, Oct. 5 (7 p.m.) and Ouachita Baptist Saturday, Oct. 7 (12 p.m.).
