ADA – The East Central University baseball team fell in the first home and mid-week of the 2018 season, falling to Oklahoma Baptist in non-conference action, 17-3 (7), at Ken Turner Field.

Dillon Mansell each added one hit each. Hines and sophomore
Ryan White also picked up an RBI each.
The Bison (15-7) got on the board early and never let go of the lead. OBU tallied three runs in the first and were then held scoreless until the fifth. During the span ECU added a run in the third and fourth to cut the deficit to one (3-2).
However, the Bison put five runs on the board in the fifth and nine in the sixth for a 17-2 lead. The Tigers were able to get one more run in the bottom of the seventh for the 17-3 final.
ECU will now get ready to return to the road for a Great American Conference series, March 16-17 at Ouachita Baptist. Currently a single game is set for Friday, March 16 at 2 p.m. and a double-header Saturday, March 17 starting at noon.
