Senior Zach Trueblood
ADA – The East Central University baseball team will host four games at Ken Turner Field in a span of three days, starting with a Great American Conference series against Harding.  The Tigers and the Bisons will play a doubleheader Sunday, April 8 starting at 1 p.m. and then a single game Monday, April 9 at 12 p.m.

ECU will then host arch rival Southeastern Oklahoma State, Tuesday, April 10 at 2 p.m. in a non-conference game and the annual Pink Out game.

The Tigers head into this weekend's action with a 2-28 overall record and a 1-20 mark in the GAC.  After missing a few games, sophomore Cale Ridling has a strong performance over the weekend at Arkansas Tech.  Ridling hit .357 in three games, with four runs, five hits, a triple, two home runs and four RBIs.

Harding is currently 17-17 overall and 9-12 in the league after going 2-1 last weekend against Southeastern.  The Bisons will play one game at home before traveling to Ada, hosting Ouachita Baptist, Wednesday, April 4.

The Bisons have three players hitting over 300 on the year, with Grant Guest leading the way with a .363 average.  Guest has 45 hits, 33 runs and 26 RBIs.

Harding has five pitchers that see most of the action, with Tanner Smith seeing the most time at 56.0 innings.  Smith has a 4-4 record, 3.38 ERA, allowed 50 hits and 24 runs and struck out 35.

The Bisons lead the all-time series against ECU 22-12 overall and 11-6 when playing as conference opponents.  However, when playing in Ada, the Tigers have fared better, going 7-4.
