Women’s Basketball Comes Back to Defeat Southeastern

ADA, OKLA. – The East Central University women's basketball team came back from a 10-point deficit at the half to defeat arch rival Southeastern Oklahoma State, 62-59, at the Kerr Activities Center.  The win extended the Tigers (12-3, 7-2 GAC) winning streak to nine and their home winning streak to five games.

  • First Quarter: 12-16
    • The Savage Storm (9-5, 7-3 GAC) scored the first points and then ECU tied it at two (8:21)
    • Southeastern used an 8-4 run over the next three minutes to push the lead to four
    • The Savage Storm kept the lead around 4-6 the rest of the quarter
