Men’s Cross Country Finishes Fifth at Chile Pepper Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The East Central University men's cross country team finished fifth, out of 39 teams, at the 31^st Annual Chile Pepper Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas.

The Tigers were one of six teams from the Great American Conference at the race
- ECU had the top team finish out of the GAC teams
  - Oklahoma Baptist – 7^th
  - Harding – 11^th
  - Southern Arkansas – 13^th
  - Northwestern Oklahoma State – 26^th
  - Southern Nazarene – 30^th
Bett was the top GAC individual finisher in 3^rd
- Lexington Hilton (SAU) finished 4^th – five seconds behind
Competed against teams from NCAA Division I and II and junior colleges
346 individuals finished the race
