Women’s Basketball Clinches GAC Tournament Spot

ADA, OKLA. – The East Central University women's basketball team clinched its eighth-straight spot in the Great American Conference tournament, with a 70-67 victory over Oklahoma Baptist at the Kerr Activities Center.

  • First Quarter: 23-15
    • The first four minutes the teams traded shots, with the Tigers (17-7, 12-6 GAC) trailing 7-9 with 6:26 left
    • ECU then went on a 13-0 run in the next four minutes
    • The Bison (10-14, 6-12 GAC) kept the disadvantage between 8-11 points the rest of the stanza
