ADA, Okla. – With a win over arch rival Southeastern Oklahoma State, the East Central University women's basketball team moved its winning streak to six games. The Tigers (6-1, 6-1 GAC) defeated the Savage Storm (4-4, 4-4 GAC) 62-49 in Great American Conference action at the Kerr Activities Center.

- ECU opened the game with a 7-0 run in the first 3:30
- SEOSU then countered with a 6-0 run over the next 4:30 minutes to get within one (7-6)
