Volleyball Sweeps Past Ouachita

ADA, Okla. – The East Central University volleyball team claimed their school-record ninth-straight victory, with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-19) sweep of Ouachita Baptist at the Kerr Activities Center.

  • Set 1: 25-13
    • The two Tiger teams traded serves and small runs for a 6-all tie
    • ECU (12-9, 8-1 GAC) then took control
      • Used an 8-1 run to push the lead to 14-7
    • The teams traded points through the rest of the set
  • Set 2: 25-19
    • Ouachita (7-15, 2-7 GAC) took an early 3-1 advantage
    • ECU fought back and tied the set at 7
    • The next four serves were traded
    • ECU then used a 9-2 run to get the momentum on their side
