ADA, Okla. – For the second week in a row, the East Central University volleyball team faced a ranked opponent at the Kerr Activities Center, falling to No. 23 Oklahoma Baptist, 3-1 (26-28, 15-25, 25-12, 19-25).

- The Bison (3-0, 3-0 GAC) opened the match with a 4-1 run
- The Tigers (1-3, 1-3 GAC) fought back to tie the set at four
- The teams traded runs until ECU had a 10-8 advantage

- OBU then started a come-back, with a 5-0 run, to get within three (22-19)

- ECU then took control with a 5-1 run (14-10)
- The Bison fought back and got within one (14-13)
- The Tigers increased the lead to three and then the close fight resumed
- OBU kept up the pressure and tied the set at 18
- The Bison then went on a 7-1 run to finish the set
