Tigers Gifted on Dungen’s Birthday

ADA, Okla. – On the birthday of East Central University volleyball senior Sydney Dungen, the Tigers (2-3, 2-3 GAC) were gifted with a sweep of Northwestern Oklahoma State (25-12, 25-16, 25-19) and Dungen recorded her 2,000th career assist.

  • 1st Set: 25-12
    • The teams traded the first six serves for a 3-3 tie
    • ECU then went on a 6-0 run to gain the advantage
    • The Tigers extended the run to 11-1 for a 10-point lead
    • Both teams added small runs the rest of the set
  • 2nd Set: 25-16
    • The teams traded runs and serves through the first 10 points
    • ECU then gained control with a 7-2 run
