Women’s Basketball Quiets the Crimson Storm

ADA, Okla. – After have Thursday off, the East Central University women's basketball team continued their winning streak to three, with a 71-59 victory over Southern Nazarene at the Kerr Activities Center.

  • 1st Quarter: 13-8
    • Neither team scored for the first two minutes and the Crimson Storm (8-7, 3-5 GAC) were held scoreless for the first three minutes (2-1)
    • SNU responded and tied the game at 4, with 6:20 left
    • The Tigers (8-5, 5-4 GAC) followed with a 5-0 run to gain a 9-4 advantage
    • Both teams then went on 4-0 runs in the remaining time in the quarter
  • 2nd Quarter: 15-10 (28-18)
    • ECU pushed its lead to 23-11 in the first 3:30 minutes, with a 10-3 run
    • The Crimson Storm countered with a 5-0 run in the next three minutes
