ADA, Okla. – After winning their last five games (dating back to Jan. 6, 2022), the East Central University saw its winning-streak come to and end against Arkansas Tech, the team that they lost to last. The Tigers (10-6, 7-5 GAC) fell to the Golden Suns (10-7, 7-6 GAC) 79-71 at the Kerr Activities Center.

- ATU jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first three minutes
- ECU fired back with a 7-0 run in the next minute to get within three

- The Golden Suns then used a 6-0 run, in the remaining time, to push the lead to double-digits
- 4th Quarter: 19-16 (71-79)
- ATU kept the advantage around 10 for most of the stanza
- ECU used several small runs to get within four (69-73), with a minute left on the clock
- The Tigers could not get any closer in the time left
