Men’s Basketball Downs Bisons

ADA, Okla. – The East Central University men's basketball team took control early and never looked back, earning a 79-68 victory over Harding at the Kerr Activities Center.

Scoring
  • 1st Half: 48-35
    • The Tigers (8-10, 6-6 GAC came out firing and used a 12-2 run, in the first 3:30 minutes, to take the lead for good
    • ECU kept the lead around nine for the next seven minutes
    • The Tigers then pushed the advantage over the Bisons (4-13, 2-9 GAC) to 12, with a 6-0 run
    • ECU kept up the pressure and led by as many as 17 (46-29) in the half
  • 2nd Half: 31-33 (79-68)
    • The difference remained around 10 for the first seven minutes
    • Harding then went on a 7-0 run to cut the disadvantage to six (54-48)
    • The Tigers quickly built the lead back to 21 (71-50), over the next five minutes
    • The teams traded small runs to keep the difference around 15
    • The Bisons used a final 4-0 run in the final minute to cut the disadvantage to 11
