Women’s Basketball Claims No. 5 Seed at GAC Tournament Championship

ADA, Okla. – After earning a 71-63 victory over Oklahoma Baptist in the final game of the 2021-22 regular season, the East Central University women's basketball team will be the No. 5 seed at the 2022 Great American Conference Tournament Championship, March 3-5 at Fire Lake Arena.

The Tigers (15-11, 12-10 GAC) will face No. 4 Henderson State, Friday, March 4 at 5:45 p.m.

  • 1st Quarter: 18-15
    • The first quarter was a back-and-forth battle from start to finish
      • No team led by more than four points

    • The tight battled continued through the first five minutes of the second stanza
