EDMOND, Okla. – In their final non-conference match of the season, the East Central University soccer team traveled to Edmond, Oklahoma to face off against Oklahoma Christian University, ultimately falling 3-0 to the Eagles on Thursday night.
The first half proved to be the turning point, with Oklahoma Christian scoring all their goals during that period.
Between the 5
th and 11
th minute of opening play the OC offense came alive, netting two goals in short order to go up 2-0. Over the next 20 minutes the Tigers held off the Eagles' attack, but in the 31
st minute, OC found another scoring opportunity with a connection to the back of the net for the final goal of the night.
The match saw the Tigers take a total of 6 shots, 5 of which were on goal, while Oklahoma Christian commanded with 20 shots, 11 of which were on frame.

Addisyn Brown, and
Reece Roberson were each able to get a shot at the goal, but five saves from the Eagles keeper prevented the shots from finding a way in.
ECU will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 23 in Ada when they take on Harding University for the start of Great American Conference action. Kickoff is slated for 11 am.
