BETHANY, Okla. – The East Central University soccer team dropped its final road contest of the 2025 season on Saturday, falling 4-0 to Southern Nazarene University.
The Crimson Storm struck twice in the first half, opening the scoring in the 18th minute before adding another just before halftime to take a 2-0 lead into the break.
Early in the second half, Southern Nazarene capitalized again with two quick goals in the 49th and 50th minutes to extend its advantage. The Tigers responded with a more aggressive attack, recording all seven of their shots after halftime, including four on goal, but were unable to find the back of the net.
Overall, SNU held a 19-7 edge in shots and a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Madison Martinez led with three shots and one on goal while
Addisyn Brown,
Lauren Mora, and Dylan Lamonica recorded one shot on goal.
The Tigers will now return home to close out the regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 3 pm against Harding University.
