Before ECU: Spent the last two seasons at Cowley County Community College…helped the team to a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA Nationals in 2012 and 10th in 2011…was a regional champion both seasons and a semifinalist in singles in 2011 and 2012 and doubles in 2012…spent her prep career at Arkansas City High School…team finished in the top-10 in the KSHAA 5A State Tournament her final three seasons.

 

Personal: Born September 11, 1992…daughter of Carlos Vargas Jr. and Maria Venegas…majoring in biology.
