Nelson averaged 1.3 kills and 0.95 blocks per set as a sophomore for ECU in 2011…She hit double digits in kills three times, including 19 in a match at Southern Arkansas…Nelson also had nine block assists against St. Mary’s…She was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for her academic achievements for the 2010-11 school year…Nelson earned all-state honors and was an all-area most valuable player out of Tahlequah High School.
