East Central University Athletics

The East Central University women's cross country team finished third, out of 10 teams at the 2014 Great American Conference Championship hosted at the Pontotoc Technology Center.  The Tigers finished with 74 points, with two runners finishing in the top-10.

Senior ReGina Germaine was the top finisher for ECU, earning her fourth-straight All-GAC First Team honor by finishing third in 19:34.6.  Freshman Marisa Meza was the top rookie to finish for any participating team, claiming fifth in 19:41.3.  The finish earned her All-GAC First Team honors, as well as the 2014 GAC Freshman of the Year award.
