HOT SPRINGS, ARK. – The East Central University men's golf team finished ninth, out of 11 teams, at the 2014 Great American Conference Championship at the Hot Springs Country Club.
ResultsThe tournament started, Sunday, April 13 and was delayed a day due to rain so the final two rounds of action were completed, Tuesday, April 15.
The Tigers shot a 932 for the tournament, with a 317 in round one, 311 in round two and 304 in the third round. Henderson State claimed the 2014 GAC Championship, with a team score of 874.
ECU was led by senior
Jed Williams, who finished tied for 28
th individually. Williams shot 78-77-75 for a 230 score.
Junior
Mickane Replogle was tied for 32
nd, with a 233 (77-77-79). Sophomore
Jason Goben finished tied for 36
th, just one stroke behind with a 234 (80-77-77).
Sophomore
Blade Knox was tied for 43
rd with a 238 (82-80-76) and sophomore
Jordan Bates was tied for 47
th, with a 240 (84-80-76).
