HOT SPRINGS, ARK. – The East Central University men's golf team finished ninth at the 2015 Great American Conference Championship at the Hot Springs Golf & Country Club, with junior
Jordan Bates earning All-GAC Tournament honors.
The Tigers finished the three-day event with a team score of 903 (298, 311, 294), less than 10 shots behind sixth and seventh place.
Bates finished tied for fifth individually and was named to the 2014 All-GAC Tournament team for his score of 218 (71-75, 72).
Junior
Jason Goben was one shot behind and tied for eighth, with a 219 (71-75-73). Senior
Mickane Replogle and freshman
Bryce Newton both tied for 42
nd with score of 235. Replogle hit 74, 82, 79 for each round, while Newton hit 82, 80, 73.
Sophomore
Justin Largent was the final member of the group for the Tigers, finishing tied for 51
st with a 243 (86-81-76).
