ADA – The East Central University softball team will host No. 5 Arkansas Tech in a Great American Conference series at Tiger Field, March 19-20. Doubleheaders are set for each day, with Saturday, March 19 starting at 1 p.m. and Sunday, March 20 at noon.
The Tigers (14-13, 11-5 GAC) went 2-2 last weekend at Henderson State. Senior
Autumn Suydam led ECU with a .400 batting average in two games. Senior
Taylor Davis added a .385 average, with five hits and three runs.

Sydney Dow earned a win in a complete eight-inning game, recording six strikeouts and allowing two hits and two runs.
The Golden Suns come into the series with a 21-2 overall record and a 13-1 mark in the GAC after going 1-1 against Oklahoma Baptist last weekend.
Alex Edinger is the teams batting leader, with a .446 average, 23 runs, 37 hits and 14 RBIs.
ATU has used six pitcher this season, with four recording over 25 innings and two of those over 45 innings. Of the list three are also undefeated on the season. Jalissa Gum leads the team with a 7-0 record and 0.79 ERA in 45.2 innings. She has allowed 17 hits and four runs and recorded 68 Ks.
