SHAWNEE, Okla. – The East Central University track & field teams continued their strong performances during the 2022 campaign, earning three women's top-3 finishes and six men's top-3 placements at the Oklahoma Baptist University Invitational.
2022 OBU Invitational Results
The men saw four first place finishes from three participants, with redshirt junior
Zach Wells claiming first in the 800 meters (1:54.72) and 1,500 meters (3:55.65), while freshman
Jackson Parrish was the top finisher in the 800 meters on Friday (1:52.94) and Amos Pikiach was first in the 5,000 meters (14:57.40).
Parrish also added a third-place time in the 1,500 meters (4:04.35) and Pkiach finished second in the 1,500 meters (3:58.66).
The women's team saw redshirt senior
Aaliyah Regg-Wajid take second in the 5,000 meters (17:46.17), junior
Abigael Kemboi was second in the 1,500 meters (4:57.11) and redshirt senior
Katie Cowger was third in the same event (4:58.39).
