East Central University Athletics

2015: Participated in four of the seven cross country races during the season…had a season best time of 26:35.60 at the Missouri Southern Stampede…ran the 1,500, 3,000 and 5,000 meters during track & field…had season best times of 4:28.23 in the 1,500, 9:31.40 in the 3,000 and 15:49.61 in the 5,000 meters…earned GAC and D2ADA Academic honors…named to the ECU Fall President’s List and Spring Dean’s List.

2014: Ran in six of seven races…finished in the top 25 in two races…named ot the GAC and D2ADA All-Academic teams.

2013: Ran in the first five races of the season…finished in the top-40 in three races, including 29^th at the GAC Championship in 27:23.9.

Before ECU: Helped the cross country team to the DeAnza League Championship in 2012 and a seventh-place finish at the state meet…finished third in the league championship and 41^st at the state meet.

Personal: Born May 16, 1995…son of Leonel and Deniece Barron…majoring in kinesiology.
