2015: Saw action in the first five races for ECU in cross country…had a season best time of 19:57.50 at the GAC Championship for 45th…also participated in track & field…finished with season bests of 2:30.38 in the 800, 5:16.99 in the 1,500 and 20:46.10 in the 5,000 meters.

2014: participated in seven races…had her best finish at the Chile Pepper Festival in 20:08.9.

2013: Saw action in three races for the Lady Tigers…ran a season-best 21:20.00 for 42nd at the Oklahoma Baptist Invite.

Before ECU: Joined the Paloma Valley High School cross country team in 2010…helped them to two-straight Sunbelt League titles.

Personal: Born April 11, 1995…daughter of Emanuel and Griselda Mendez…majoring in mathematics.
