ADA – The East Central University soccer team will have a home and away weekend of Great American Conference action, as the Tigers are set to host Oklahoma Baptist, Thursday, Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. and then travel to battle with Southern Nazarene, Saturday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m.
ECU is currently 1-5-1 overall and 1-1 in the league after splitting its opening weekend matches. The Tigers claimed a 4-1 win at Northwestern to open the year and then fell to Southwestern (0-4). ECU saw two goals from both junior

The Bison come into Thursdays match with a 4-3 overall record and a 1-2 mark in the GAC after picking up their first conference win of the season Tuesday against Southern Nazarene (3-0). OBU moved closer to its opponents in goals scored in the last match, now just trailing by one (8-9).
Abigail Hicks and Ruth King have both tallied two goals this season, with both by Hicks serving as match-winning goals. Emma Beck has seen most of the time in net for the Bison, allowing nine goals and stopping 38 shots, with three shutouts.
The Crimson Storm are 1-8 overall and 0-3 in the league after their loss to OBU. SNU has had a slow offensive start to the season, scoring four goals and allowing 23. Megan Chase leads the Crimson Storm with three goals, while Hannah Robinson adds a goal and an assist. Natasha Fuentes is the lone goaltender for SNU, with 20 goals allowed, 49 saves and a shutout.
The Tigers and OBU have met on just three previous occasions, with ECU holding a 2-1 advantage in the series. That includes a 2-0 record when playing at Tiger Field.
ECU and SNU have battled on 13 previous occasions, with the Crimson Storm holding a 4-8-1 lead in the series, including a 1-5-1 mark when playing in Bethany, Okla.
