ADA – The East Central University men's tennis team has had a week off after starting the 2014 season to prepare for two road matches this weekend against Newman and Friends. The Tigers will face both teams, Friday, Feb. 14, with the match against Newman slated to start at 9 a.m. and Friends at 2 p.m.
ECU is 0-2 on the season after falling to No. 29 Drury and Washburn in the opening weekend.
The Jets are 3-3 on the season after losing their last match, 3-6, to Rockhurst Feb. 8. The Falcons are 1-3 overall after the fall portion of their season. Friends will play its first match of the spring against the Tigers.

Stefan Schodlbauer are leading ECU in the early portion of the season. Each has a 1-1 singles record.
After this Friday's matches, the Tigers will return home to host their first match of the season against Seminole State, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.
