ADA – After a week off, the East Central University women's tennis team will return to the courts to face Newman and Friends, Friday, Feb. 14 in Wichita, Kan. The Lady Tigers will first face Newman at 9 a.m. and Friends at 2 p.m.
ECU is currently 0-2 in 2014 after falling to No. 24 Drury and Washburn Feb. 2.
The Jets are 6-0 on the season, including four 9-0 wins. Friends ended the fall portion of the season with a 1-3 record and will open the spring season against the Lady Tigers.
After the opening weekend, ECU has three players that have 1-1 singles records in junior
Elisabeth Dignard, senior
Agostina Moran and freshman
Julia Municoy.
The Lady Tigers will have one more road match, Feb. 18 vs. Northeastern State, before starting a nine-match home stand Feb. 23 against Central Oklahoma at 1 p.m.
