SHAWNEE, OKLA. – The East Central University women's tennis team fell 4-5 to Oklahoma Baptist in Great American Conference action at the OBU Tennis Center.

Becca Richison earning the point with an 8-6 win over Alex Bowers and Caroline Abbe at No. 3 doubles.
The Bison (15-2, 4-0 GAC) then wrapped up the win by taking No. 3, No. 2 and No. 4 singles.
ECU fought back and earned the final three points of the match, with wins at No. 1, No. 6 and No. 5 singles.
Junior
Julia Municoy added a point with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Anastasiia Baranova at No. 1 singles. Ghosh added a win at No. 5 singles, with a 0-6, 6-3, 10-6 win over Bowers. Richison also earned a point with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Abbe at No. 6 singles.
The Tigers will next be in action, Monday, April 11 when they start a three-match home streak to wrap up the regular season. ECU will face Southeastern at 1 p.m. at Mayhue Courts.
