ADA – The East Central University men's tennis team improved to 3-2 overall after earning a 6-3 win over Seminole State in its first match at home for the 2013-14 season.

The Tigers started out with a 2-1 advantage after the doubles matches were concluded. Junior
Nate Kipping and freshman
Stefan Schodlbauer earned the first point of the day, with an 8-4 win over Aramis Azucey and Alex Clerihew at No. 3 doubles.
Seniors
Andrew Cabato and
Julian Caminos made the score 2-0 with an 8-5 win over Vasil Surduk and Tyler Bridges are No. 1 doubles.
Caminos earned a point for ECU in singles as well, with a win by forfeit over Bridges at No. 3 singles, to make the score 3-1. Cabato earned the fourth point with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Drew Forsyth at No. 4 singles.
That allowed Schodlbauer to win the match for the Tigers with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Alex Brown at No. 6 singles.
Seminole State earned the next two points at No. 1 and No. 2 singles before Kipping finished the match with a 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 win over Azucey at No. 5 singles.
ECU will next be in action, Saturday, March 1 when they face Colorado Pueblo at 9 a.m. and Cameron at 2 p.m. in Lawton, Okla.
