ADA – The East Central University men's tennis team dropped a 2-7 decision to No. 20 Northwest Missouri State at the Ada High School Tennis Courts.

The Tigers (6-5) fell behind 1-2 after doubles, with juniors Max DeJuan and Marc Fillat earning the point with an 8-6 win over Alvaro Riveros and Julien Couronne at No. 2 doubles.

DeJuan picked up the final point for ECU during the singles matches.  DeJuan defeated Romian Boissinot 2-6, 7-5, 7-5 at No. 2 singles.

The Tigers will face Southwest Baptist, Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. to finish their weekend of matches.  ECU was scheduled to play BYU-Hawaii earlier in the day, but the match was postponed due to the early afternoon rain.  No date has been determined for the match at this time.
