ADA – The East Central University men's tennis team dropped a 2-7 decision to No. 35 Southwest Baptist at Mayhue Courts.

The Tigers (6-6) fell behind 0-3 after the doubles matches and were trailing 0-4 before ECU earned its first point of the match.
Junior Nate Kipping claimed the first point for the Tigers with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Yannick Doering at No. 6 singles.

The final singles match to finish was at No. 3 singles, where senior Julian Caminos earned a come-from-behind 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 10-5 win over Chris Blodig.

ECU will next face BYU-Hawaii in the postponed match that was started Saturday, March 22.  The match will take place in Lawton, Okla., at 10 a.m.
