Women’s Tennis Falls to Southeastern

Freshman Julia Municoy is leading the Lady Tigers with a 3-3 singles record so far in 2013-14.
ADA – The East Central University women's tennis team fell to Southeastern Oklahoma State, 4-5, in Great American Conference action at Mayhue Courts.

The Lady Tigers (5-13, 2-3 GAC) earned one point during the doubles matches when juniors Bernardita Muscillo and Kelsey Kerr defeated Cassaundra Braaten and Marina Dias 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.

ECU then added points in singles at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles.  Freshman Julia Municoy was the first to finish, earning a 6-1, 6-4 win over Conchi Assiego.
 
Junior Elisabeth Dignard added a 6-2, 6-1 win over Elba Haugen at No. 4 singles and Agostina Moran defeated Braaten 7-5, 1-6, 10-5 at No. 5 singles.

The Lady Tigers will wrap up the GAC portion of the season, Saturday, April 12 when they welcome Harding at 9 a.m. at Mayhue Courts.
