SHAWNEE, OKLA. – The East Central University men's tennis team earned a 5-4 win over Oklahoma Baptist in the final match of the 2014 regular season in non-conference action.

Stefan Schodlbauer defeated Patrick Sims and Francisco Da Silva 8-2.
ECU then lost the first two singles matches before coming back to take the final four to earn the win.
Senior
Julian Caminos picked up a 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) win at No. 3 singles over Dario Macnovic. Senior
Andrew Cabato added a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles over Da Silva.
Schodlbauer then earned a second point for the day with a 6-2,6 -3 win over Augustin Janssen at No. 5 singles. Kipping also added a point with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Travis Gilliland at No. 6 singles.
The Tigers will now prepare for the 2014 Great American Conference Championship, April 18-19 in Bentonville, Ark. ECU earned the No. 2 seed at the tournament and will face No. 3 Harding in the semifinals, Friday, April 18 at 2 p.m.
