ARKADELPHIA, ARK. – The East Central University men's tennis team earned a key 5-4 win over No. 40 Ouachita Baptist on the road in the first Great American Conference match of the season.

Stefan Schodlbauer then took the No. 3 doubles match 9-8 (7-5) over Maciej Bracixzewicz and Andre Stefano.
OBU (4-8, 0-2 GAC) earned wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles in two sets and took a 2-3 advantage.
Senior
Julian Caminos then tied the match at three with a 7-6 (7-2), 6-0 win at No. 3 singles.
OBU took No. 4 singles, but the Tigers rallied to earn the final two points. Schodlbauer defeated Street at No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-2 and Kipping defeated Stefano 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 for the overall match win.
ECU will now be idle until Thursday, April 10 when they host Southeastern Oklahoma State at 2 p.m. at Mayhue Courts.
