ARKADELPHIA, ARK. – The East Central University women's tennis team earned a 9-0 win over Ouachita Baptist in Great American Conference action. The Lady Tigers (5-12, 2-1 GAC) won their second-straight league match.
Box ScoreOBU (0-14, 0-3 GAC) came to the match with just five players so they defaults wins to ECU at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles to put the Lady Tigers up 2-0 before the match started.

Elisabeth Dignard and freshman
Julia Municoy made the score 3-0 with an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles over Valeriya Mansvetova and Polina Tsymbaloya. Junior
Bernardita Muscillo and senior
Agostina Moran then added an 8-3 win over Camila Ferreira and Mary Wolf at No. 2 doubles.
The Tigers then won all five of the singles matches that were played in two sets.
Muscillo earned a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles, Municoy won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, Dignard won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, Moran won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles and junior
Kelsey Kerr won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
The Lady Tigers will remain on the road to face their third-straight GAC opponent, Tuesday, April 8 at 1 p.m. when they face Arkansas Tech.
