SEMINOLE, OKLA. – The East Central University women's tennis team started the spring portion of the 2014-15 season on the right track, picking up a 7-2 win over Seminole State.

Elisabeth Dignard defeated Jaycie Talbot (6-1, 6-0) at No. 3 singles, Ghost defeated Factor (6-0, 6-1) at No. 4 singles, Mayorga defeated Kailey Hamilton (6-2, 6-3) at No. 5 singles and Mijares defeated Brummet (6-1, 6-1) at No. 6 singles.
ECU will now prepare for a tough weekend when they face Washburn, Saturday, Feb. 7 at noon and No. 29 Drury, Sunday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. in Springfield, Mo.
