ADA – In the first Great American Conference match of the 2014-15 season, the East Central University women's tennis team picked up a sweep (9-0) of Ouachita Baptist at Mayhue Courts.

Gloria Mayorga then wrapped up doubles play with an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
Mijares then made quick work at No. 6 singles, earning a 6-1, 6-0 win over Kelly Howk to push the score to 4-0.
The match-winning point then came from Ghosh at No. 4 singles, with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Camila Ferreira.
Municoy then earned a 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles, Mayorga was 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Dignard battled through for a 6-2, 4-6, 10-8 win at No. 4 singles.
The final point of the match came from Muscillo at No. 2 singles, as she pushed through for a 6-4, 6-4 win over Vania Bogetic.
ECU will not have long to rest as they face Cameron, Friday, March 13 at 1 p.m. in Lawton, Okla., and then Midwestern State, Saturday, March 14 at 9 a.m. in Wichita Falls, Texas.
